Pros and cons of Battle for Wesnoth app for iPhone and iPad

Battle for Wesnoth app good for

This game is fantastic Ive had it for many years and Im still playing it today and people keep adding their own custom scenarios so you always have something to play
it works great i always use to play this game at my grandmas on her old computer love the multiplayer and single player missions luv it
Great strategy game, offline, no commercials! Hundreds of campaigns created by fans, hundreds of units from different armies.
I played this game years ago on my old computer and loved it. This app is a perfect copy. The mobile controls are so easy. The music, the art, the stories and world; its all really great. Not just beat the level and move on crap. You can tell the developers cared a lot and put extra effort in here. Strategy gamers beware- you will spend an exorbitant amount of time on this game. Excellent! Well worth the re-download.
Any fan of turn-based strategy or fantasy should give this game a try.
I love this game! Played it on a desktop for several years. Recently discovered IOS version. I couldnt resist. Its the only game I have on my phone. The best IOS game I have found by far. After the $4 purchase of the game, there are no other hidden purchases. The whole game, including tons of add-on content is available to play. You could literally spend several hundred hours exploring new campaigns, units, maps, music, etc... Its easy to learn, difficult to master. After several hundred hours of gameplay I still have a lot to learn. Wonderful game that inspires your imagination. I am proud to support this game.

Some bad moments

So far so good this is another implementation port to this all times crazy unpredictable random number generations based insanity BfW. The question is how to get the latest update to the stable release?!
this game looks very good in the app store. Upon playing it, I realized that it essentially degenerates into replaying levels until the RNG decides you win. The is little to no strategic value in this game whatsoever, since all units must be adjacent to each other to fight, and the RNG will often go on rolling streaks allowing units with no chance to hit to easily slay your best men. While there is a ton of missions and campaigns, they all boil down to throwing as many units as you can into the mix and hoping something survives to the next mission. I sincerely wish there was a refund option for app store purchases as I would definitely want one for this game.
Just too amazing for words. If you like turn based strategy games theres nothing better.
Final fantasy meets civilization. A must get game for all abilities.
Awesome game, translated fairly well to mobile. My only complaint is how common crashes are during big battles, so save mid and end turn when facing 3+ enemy leaders
This game is a classic. I am so very pleased that it was released on the IOS. Its a game that you can spend many hours playing and creating campaigns without getting bored. My only complaint is the lack of developer love that this game has been getting. No updates or bug fixes for a while. I for one have not experienced many, however they are out there.
